History


Impact Custom Apparel LLC was founded in March 2004 by Kristyn and John DeDonato.  The husband and wife team shares an entrepreneurial spirit coupled with different work experience and skills which have proven to be a valuable combination.

 

Kristyn B. DeDonato

Kristyn is the majority owner of Impact and manages both operations and production.  She works closely with the sales and production teams to ensure that customer expectations are met (and exceeded).  A graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Kristyn received her BS in Management Information Systems in 1996.  Prior to launching Impact, she worked in Atlanta, GA with Harbinger Corporation on their technical support team. She left that position to join Leviton Manufacturing in Pawtucket, RI as an EDI Coordinator.  In 1999 she joined GTech Corporation in West Greenwich as a Systems Administrator responsible for a database system deployed world wide.  Kristyn’s experience with technology and large corporations allowed her the opportunity to grow and develop both management and operations skills which have been essential as Impact grows at its current pace.

 

John T. DeDonato

John is responsible for managing and directing all aspects of Impact’s marketing and sales efforts.  In addition, he works closely with vendors to ensure that our product offering meets the needs of our customers.  John graduated from Christian Brothers University in Memphis in 1994 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing.  After graduation, John moved to Atlanta, GA to join MManTec, Inc., one of the nation’s largest privately owned facilities management companies. His responsibilities centered on business development with Fortune 500 companies.  In 1998 John joined Source Technology. The company is based in Waltham, MA and became the largest integrator of telecommunications infrastructure products in North America. His responsibilities initially were sales and he quickly grew into a mixed role of both marketing and sales. John became the Director of Marketing and worked with vendors, partners and customers to grow and improve the company’s position and brand.  John’s understanding of the promotional product’s industry was learned from the customer’s point of view and has allowed Impact to take a different approach than the industry standard.  He leverages his marketing experience and creative skills to help Impact’s customer maximize their brand effectively and efficiently.
